SEEMORE LOVE AND CARE was inspired by a World War II veteran who became a guiding light in the lives of my daughters and me.

We met during a challenging time when we moved into the same building, and he quickly found a special place in my heart. I offered my help, assuring him that he could always reach out to me. He graciously accepted, acknowledging my kindness with a gentlemanly kiss on my hand.

At 92 years old and legally blind, he was a remarkable individual—well known and admired throughout our neighborhood, especially by the ladies who found his charm irresistible. Despite his age, he remained incredibly independent. He ordered his own meals, attended yoga classes, and used public transportation to run errands, all while refusing to ask for help.

Over time, however, he began to struggle with certain daily tasks and eventually allowed himself to accept assistance. Our journey together was filled with both joyful moments and deeply emotional ones—especially when he could no longer attend yoga, something that meant so much to him.

Witnessing the challenges that come with aging, including memory loss and the pain of no longer recognizing familiar faces, is something many families experience. It is a deeply emotional journey—one that requires patience, compassion, and understanding.

Seymour A. Slosburg taught us that life is about so much more than its final chapter. In his final days, he expressed his deep love for us—especially for me—reassuring me that he would always be by my side. I made sure he knew how much he meant to my family and me, thanking him for being our guardian angel.

His final words stayed with me: he reminded me never to forget his love for us and expressed gratitude for our unwavering support before peacefully closing his eyes.

Seymour was truly extraordinary—caring, respectful, and a true gentleman. While I never imagined myself in this line of work, the years I spent caring for him inspired me to create a company dedicated to supporting seniors and their families.
